YG has admitted that he was abused sexually as a child.
In an emotional interview with ABC News, the Compton rapper talked about how an older woman abused him when he was 14 years old and how he rapped about it on his new song “2004.”
“I kept it inside for a long time,” he said. The record came out and that was the first time my family heard about it.
The rapper known as “FDT” also thinks that things like this happen a lot more often than most people think.
He also said, “90% of the people I played it for were men, and they all had the same stories.” That was the talk that everyone was having. It was like, “Yeah, I was raped.”
“It wasn’t a thing that I did some with an older woman—it’s lit,” YG said about not realizing he had been sexually abused until many years later. As you go through life, things happen that make you think, “I got raped.”
YG rapped on “2004,” “When I was young I got raped by a bitch twice my age. She picked me up from school, took me to her house, and we got laid. Ever since then I’ve never looked at shit the same.”
He went on, “My life is crazy, I feel like I’m from Baby Gang. How am I supposed to change after all the fucked up crap I’ve seen? Of course I know it’s fucked up; I’m so used to it that I got fucked up at the show. Of course I know it’s fucked up; how fucked up could it go? “Nipsey left me like Biggie left Hov.”
“The b**** ripped me off, I don’t trust her; she ripped me off, I have no choice.” I got my dicked sucked by a ho that was 30 years old when I was 14 years old, and I never told her. She was dating her niece at the time, and it hurt my soul, he spat.
YG also gave a graphic account of some of the sexual activity: “Okay, so her auntie and I kept fucking fa sho. Then one day I thought this was too much. I knew this wasn’t normal as I grew up. She told me to eat her ass, and I threw up. I can’t believe I had my face in her butt.”
